Campsite Les Varennes

The peaceful family campsite Les Varennes on the French island Ile de Ré is a wonderful place no matter your age. The large outside pool provides the necessary cooling on warm summer days and you can easily walk to the beach. You can rent bikes at the front desk to explore the island. Campsite Les Varennes can only be reached via the toll bridge across the water. From the bridge, you can already see the beach of Ile de Ré. The island is known for salt extraction, which you can see in towns such as Loix and Ars-en-Ré. The campsite is located close to the picturesque Le-Bois-Plage-en-Ré, where a market with regional products is held every morning.

Camping as luxurious as you want itThe advantage of Campsite Les Varennes is that it isn’t a large campsite, but it is nevertheless fully equipped. There are 56 camping pitches for tents, caravans, and camper vans. The camping pitches are not delimited and have a surface of approximately 95 m2. During low season, you can take an additional car free of charge.

There is also a wide choice of comfortable mobile homes. You can make it as luxurious as you want, for example with 3 bedrooms, a large sitting area, and a covered terrace. You can also choose additional luxury, for example by taking a privilege package for your mobile home, so you can enjoy sun beds and a dishwasher during your camping holiday.
