Amidst the rugged nature of Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon, a stone's throw away from the well-known Gorges du Verdon and the lively town of Castellane, lies Camping Terra Verdon - Ciela Village. This is a holiday paradise, where you can find tranquillity, beautiful nature and room to unwind completely. Lac du Castillon is located in the area.
Spacious pitchesThe spacious and well-shaded pitches are located in streets along paved roads. The pitches are demarcated with hedges. The rental accommodation (mobile homes and bungalow tents), generally relatively new, can be found in a separate section.Swimming pool and lakeThe swimming pool of the campsite looks glorious. It is fairly large (120 m2) but is sufficiently roomy for young and old to cool off. Children can enjoy themselves on the inflatable slide, while the adults enjoy the splendid view of the surrounding mountain landscape from their loungers. Adjacent to the swimming pool is a spacious play field with a few colourful playground attributes.Kids club and evening entertainmentThere is no need for children to get bored with a spacious playground, a bouncer, table tennis tables, monkey bars, a mini golf course and lots of entertainment. The entertainment team offers a wide range of activities: from kids club and soccer tournaments to pool parties and treasure hunts. The campsite also offers guided walking tours and evening entertainment. Please note: the entertainment is in French!Provençal dishesIn the robust camping restaurant, furnished in Provençal style, you can eat excellent regional dishes. The service is fast and friendly. Prefer to eat elsewhere? Head for a restaurant in the nearby town of Castellane. If you prefer to cook yourself, you can do your shopping in a small supermarket with mostly local products and daily fresh bread.
