The name says it all: Domaine Chasteuil Provence is a campsite in the beautiful Provence. You camp here on the banks of the Verdon, which flows from Castellane through the famous Gorges du Verdon along steep cliffs towards a large reservoir. Camping spots directly by the river and under low hanging trees give you the chance for an idyllic camping holiday in nature.
Beautiful spots on the VerdonSteep hills surround the campsite, which slopes down to the banks of the Verdon. Compared to the immediate surroundings the terrain has only slight differences in height, all touring pitches and rental accommodations have a flat, well-maintained surface.Domaine Chasteuil Provence mainly has spots for tents, caravans or campervans. Some 210 touring pitches make this campsite very suitable for the touring camper. Especially the pitches right by the river are beautiful.A dip in the pool or river?On the road side of the campsite, on the right side of the entrance you will find the swimming pool. This pool is not particularly large, but it is beautifully situated in the sun and is large enough for the largest number of campers on the campsite. Of course you also have a whole river at your disposal for a nice swim. The river is quite deep, so beware of children: don't let the smallest campers into the water unguarded.Enjoy ProvenceAlready on the road towards the campsite you can see the restaurant appear between the trees. Here (in high season) not only tasty snacks, but also Provencal dishes are served. Enjoy them on the shady patio.
