Only 8 km south-west of the city of Tours, you will find camping La Mignardière, the ideal base for exploring the Touraine region. The region is rich in history, gastronomy and attractive nature. The camping site presents itself as ‘hôtellerie de plein air’ (open air hotel) which is an indication that everything revolves around pleasing the holiday guests.
Peaceful ambianceOnce arrived on the camping site you will feel the peaceful atmosphere. The pitches are situated along wide, paved roads and make a well maintained impression. The right hand side of the camping grounds is reserved for the permanent pitches and the rental accommodation with high hedges between the pitches and the left hand side is for overnight guests with less clearly demarcated pitches under scattered trees. If you have not brought your own tent, caravan or camper van, you can rent a chalet or mobile caravan for max. 6 persons.ServiceThe shop on the camping site stocks all basic necessities, such as daily fresh bread, and you can get snacks in the cafetaria. Restaurants and a supermarket can be found in Ballan-Miré, 2 km away, or in Joué-lès-Tours, on the other side of the D37. There is a market in Ballan-Miré on Fridays and Sunday mornings. Swimming poolNear the entrance you will also find a heated swimming pool consisting of a covered and an open section, surrounded by an attractive terrace. Next to this are a tennis court and a soccer field/playing field. Further than that there is little entertainment on the camping site, but across the road is a fun park with an extensive range of attractions for young and old.
