Campsite La Grainetière is located on the popular French island of Île de Ré. Peace and quiet are central at this campsite but there is also room for entertainment. In the summer months, various theme evenings are organised. At 1½ kilometres from the campsite you will find La Flotte, one of the island’s oldest villages. Walk along the harbour, find a seat at an outdoor café or wander over the market. At the campsite, Isabelle, Eric and Fanny and their team will welcome you in a forested environment. The many spacious and demarcated camping pitches can be found amid the pine trees and oak trees and they are all equipped with electricity and water supply and discharge. The campsite offers various amenities to make camping as pleasurable as possible. For example, you can hire a fridge or barbecue.
Swimming at the campsite or in the seaThe campsite has a heated and covered swimming pool with a retractable roof which can be opened when the outdoor temperature permits. The pool has a toddler pool with fun fountains and there is a separate hot tub under the palm trees. La Flotte beach is approximately 1½ kilometres away.Entertainment, but above all, peace and quietAt Campsite La Granetière, peace and quiet are central, and that is why entertainment is only provided in the months of July and August. Mussel, paella and pancake evenings are organised and on Sundays there are concerts at the end of the afternoon by the snack bar’s covered patio. Because peace and quiet are important at this campsite, the activities never go on late in the evening.
