Campsite

This simple and quiet campsite is located at the edge of the village of Vianden, on the river Our. The entrance of the campsite is located next to the Hotel de l'Our, property of the owner of the campsite. You can book a room or apartment here. You camp at only a ten-minute walk from the medieval centre of Vianden, with great restaurants, several museums and lovely churches.
Camping in all peace and quietThe campsite is located behind the hotel, partially parallel to the road. Because the property is a bit lower, you have hardly any noise problems. The property is located in a bend of the shallow river, and the babbling water is very relaxing. Flowering shrubs The reasonably spacious, well maintained and numbered pitches are not strictly demarcated. Everywhere around you, there are green trees and shrubs, lovely when they are in bloom. Some spots have shade. The most beautiful and largest pitches are located on the river, but they have the least shade. Mountain biking, climbing and swimmingNearly everyone enjoys the fifteen accurately signposted routes for mountain bikers. Altogether some three hundred kilometres through dense forests and along deep river valleys and imposing fortresses. Vianden has a lovely climbing park, Indian Forest, with routes of up to two hours, suitable for children from five years of age and adults. There is also a large swimming complex in Vianden with a panoramic view.Delicious flammkuchenFor your basic shopping go to the petrol station next to the hotel. Supermarkets are located in Diekirch (10 kilometers) and Vianden. As a camper you are welcome in the restaurant of Hotel de l'Ours with regional dishes and delicious flammkuchen.
