Campsite Du Barrage Rosport

On the bank of the Sauer river and the border of Germany and Luxembourg lies campsite Du Barrage Rosport. The campsite is level, with well-maintained camping pitches on grassy fields directly by the water. You camp here amidst greenery with a splendid view of the river. Du Barrage Rosport is a family campsite which attracts mainly sports-minded campers.

Bring your boat and fishing rodCampsite Du Barrage Rosport has a large number of annual pitches, but also numerous touring pitches. The camping pitches are located along straight, hardened pathways on well maintained level grassy fields. Here and there are a few deciduous trees which offer some shade, but most pitches are in the sun. The pitches by the water are ideal, certainly if you have brought your own boat or fishing rod. On the banks of the streamYou reach the water via a few steps from the grassy beach along the shore. There is a jetty for small boats. The Sauer is ideal for kayaking and paddle surfing. The banks are perfectly suitable for fishing (fishing licence required). The river is not really suitable for swimming. Fortunately, the campsite has a lovely outdoor swimming pool, surrounded by a sunbathing lawn with loungers and sun umbrellas. Juices and fresh breadThere is no shop on the campsite. You can do your grocery shopping in Rosport or Echternach. In high season a baker visits the campsite each morning. There is no restaurant on the campsite, but in high season the cosy bar and terrace are open. You can buy healthy snacks here, as well as fresh fruit juices and regional beverages. Last but not least, in high season there are regular theme evenings with music and dinner.
