When you camp on Camping Puynadal, you are only three km south of the beautiful town of Brantôme, also referred to as the ‘Venice of the Périgord’. When you arrive at the campsite, you will immediately get an extraordinary sense of serenity. This modern and child-friendly campsite lies in a quiet, green area at an elevation of 150 m. Do not expect any luxury or entertainment programmes here: instead you will find stylish simplicity in a nutshell. There is an amiable atmosphere on the campsite.
Spacious campsiteThe terrain (2.5 ha) of Puynadal provides room to 23 demarcated, very spacious touring pitches of no less than 150-180 m2. The campsite is quiet during the day and at night. Camping Puynadal has an almost park-like appearance with the well-tended grass surface and rich variety of trees. You can also rent a mobile home (16). These are suitable for up to five persons.Swimming, cycling, horseback ridingPuynadal is especially popular with families with young children. Near the reception you will find the swimming pool (5 x 14 m), the bouncy castle and the modest playground. The sports field is often used, mainly for all kinds of ball games. You can cycle in the area, but it is advisable to use a mountain bike, e-bike or racing bike to get around. Walking is possibly a better option. The organised horse riding tours are also very enjoyable.Eating and drinkingPuynadal does not have a shop or restaurant. During the months of July and August fresh bread is available and the snack bar is open. It has a cosy terrace. You can do the necessary shopping in Brantôme.
