Camping de L'Îlot is located in the Périgord Vert, on the banks of the river Auvézère. This small family campsite has a simple outdoor pool and a paddling pool, but you can also enjoy swimming and canoeing in the river. The campsite is situated in a wooded area near the village of Cubjac, in the heart of the Dordogne. The most beautiful pitches are situated by the river.
Sheltered in greenOn the spacious, wooded campsite there are only about forty touring pitches. There are also fifteen rental accommodations; mainly mobile homes, but also two lodge tents. There is a lot of difference in the size and layout of the pitches. Some are sheltered by greenery, others offer almost no privacy. Some are a bit small, others are very spaciousSwimming and canoeingAt the entrance to the campsite there is a simple outdoor swimming pool, with a separate paddling pool next to it. The water is not heated, so a dip in the pool is refreshing. You can also swim in the small river that flows along the campsite. On the bank is a lawn where you can sunbathe. As in the Dordogne, you can canoe, kayak and whitewater raft in the Auvézère.Entertainment in high seasonDuring the summer months, theme evenings are regularly organised at the campsite. For children there are disco evenings, for adults there is an entertainment program twice a week. Karaoke evenings are held in the bar at the entrance to the campsite. You won't notice much of it on the campsite; it's quiet there day and night.
