DKamping Village (ex International Camping Ispra) is located on the winding road coming from the south running along the east bank of Lago Maggiore toward the north. The quiet location of the campground is a big plus point. The campground is located right on a private beach on Lago Maggiore. This part of the lake is the most natural and is not located in the touristy area.
Camping on the waterAt DKamping Village you'll not find defined campsites, but open sites that vary in size and foundation. There is a long, narrow zone of campsites on the lake. The other campsites are a bit further away from the lake. Accommodations are the minority, there are only wooden chalets for hire.Beach or poolFrom your campsite you are only a few steps from the beach. The first metres of water are shallow, so ideal for kids. There is a sunbathing area with comfortable chairs you can use for a fee on site. You can also swim in the well maintained swimming pool. There is a colourful slide for children.Multi-faceted barThe bar is the heart of the campground and also serves as a small shop. There is a terrace looking out on the pool and the sea. In the summer months, pizzas are baked and there are rolls available in the morning.Jumping and dancingThere are plenty of activities for children up to 10 years old. Regularly there is a bouncy castle, or you can dance during the music evening, where parents are also very welcome.
