A gem of a five-star campsite, and one that lives up to its stars. At Camp MondSeeLand in the Austrian Mondsee, everything is meticulously organised. The owners are very hospitable and you will stay on spacious pitches (grass). The (semi)covered swimming pool is very attractive. You find all this in a beautiful green, quiet area with trees and gently sloping meadows.
Holiday cottages in Austrian styleMost pitches are spacious, although some pitches may be more compact when it is busy. Otherwise, the terrain is well-tended and maintained with lots of surrounding vegetation. There are pitches with and without shade. Rather rent accommodation? Undoubtedly, you will then book a holiday cottage, obviously fully furnished in Austrian style.Swimming and sunbathingThe covered swimming pool (with slightly warm water) is centrally located behind the reception. It is modestly sized and deep and, therefore, not really suitable for the little ones. It has an adjacent tiled terrace, where you can soak up the sun on the loungers.  The area is excellent for beautiful walks, swimming and fishing. Cycling in the hilly area is not recommended for everyone.Eating in a lovely atmosphereYou can enjoy a great meal here in the large restaurant with attractive Austrian decor. The menu offers ample choices with a selection of regional and traditional dishes. There is an attractive terrace so you can dine al fresco. Would you rather do your own cooking? There is a supermarket on the camping site.Sparkling clean sanitary facilitiesThe centrally situated sanitary facilities are tastefully furnished, complete with flowers and fragrance. It is really meticulously clean and very pleasant.
