Attractively decorated camping fieldsThis campsite consists of several attractively furnished and well-maintained camping fields. You can choose between a basic pitch and a comfort pitch. Please indicate whether you would like a shady or sunny pitch. The campsite offers both options. Furthermore, there are two hiker's huts and a fully equipped mobile home for rent. The cabins are ideal for cycling and hiking campers.Entertainment on and around the campsiteEntertainment at the campsite includes the jeu-de-boules pitch. Balls can be borrowed at the reception. The Oranjekanaal also runs right past the campsite; an excellent spot for fishing. Avid readers are also well catered for at Camping Midden Drenthe, as books can be borrowed free of charge from the canteen. Young children will enjoy the playground and the Villa Kakelbont petting zoo right next door.Have a snack in the canteenThere is a small canteen where refreshments such as hot drinks, ice creams, pastries, sandwiches and some local products are available. You can also order your breakfast for the next day here. The nearest place to do your shopping is in Westerbork, about five kilometres from the campsite. Here you can find two large supermarkets.
