Vakantiepark Westerbergen

Vakantiepark De Westerbergen, a true camping paradise for children, is located right next to Ruinen forestry, just a five-minute drive away from the historical village of Echten. During the school holidays, an enthusiastic entertainment team keeps both young and older children entertained. But that's not all. In the region surrounding the campsite, vast moors and forests, mysterious dolmens and characteristic Drenthe villages await you.

Camping amidst green This park-like terrain is playfully designed: no 'straight' roads, but winding paths leading to wonderfully spacious camping pitches. There is little to nothing to mark the pitches, but this is compensated by plenty of grass, trees and shrubs. The sanitary facilities are excellent at De Westerbergen.

For campers looking for a little more luxury, camping pitches with a private bathroom are available. Particularly unique are the safari tent lodges, where you can camp in luxury. They can play in one of the many playgrounds dotted around the campsite, go wild in the woods, or play to their heart's content in the indoor swimming pool or the heated water playground in the outside part of the pool.
