Camping Het Horstmannsbos is located in a beautiful wood and heathland area in the northeast of Drenthe. This natural campsite has large, shady pitches at the fringe of a wood, but also spacious pitches on sunny lawns. Het Horstmannsbos is a real family campsite, with extensive facilities for families with children.
Natural Camping There are one hundred touring pitches and fifty permanent, spread over twelve camping fields that bear bird names. Choose a sunny pitch on one of the open lawns, lined with greenery. Or choose more privacy and shelter on a pitch separated by hedges.Do you like simple, back-to-basic camping with the tent? Then choose a spot in the strip of forest p at the back of the campsite. There you can really enjoy natural camping on a spacious pitch between the trees or around one of the sand drifts.Family holidayCamping Het Horstmannsbos offers extensive facilities for a comfortable camping holiday with the whole family. The campsite is car-free, so that children can play safely. Next to the restaurant is a nice playground with playground equipment, trampolines and bouncy castles. There is a water playground on the sand drift. For a few weeks in high season there is an entertainment team present on the campsite for children and adults.Everything nearbyIf you want to dine out, you don't have to go far. The small restaurant on the campsite has a limited menu. You can also get snacks and takeaway meals. In the nearby village of Gasselte you'll find more restaurants. You can get fresh bread at the campsite. Het Horstmannsbos doesn't have a grocery store. However, there are plenty of shopping opportunities in the area.
