In the rural area of the valley of the Dordogne, five hundred meters from the river, lies the small-scale campsite Le Mondou. The summer activities bring the camping guests into contact with each other in a relaxed way. You'll camp on spacious pitches with panoramic views. Sail the Dordogne by canoe, discover the many castles and visit medieval towns.
Wide viewsThe owners have chosen a nice spot for their campsite. Le Mondou is situated in the flat countryside of Saint-Julien-de-Lampon. There are no busy roads, high buildings or tourist attractions here. So you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet. Although there are enough trees to provide shade you have panoramic views over the fields, with the hills in the background. There are about fifty pitches in total. You can also choose from a few mobile homes, chalets and luxury lodge tents.ConvivialityAt the front of the campsite is the spacious, rectangular swimming pool. Here you will also find the restaurant and a pleasant sidewalk café. Thanks to the fun and friendly activity program, you will effortlessly get in touch with your fellow campers. Every day of the week there is something to do. Monday is often reserved for a jeu de boules tournament and the Tuesday for a canoe trip on the Dordogne. Occasionally excursions are organised to the nearby climbing park.TastyEspecially the organised meals are very enjoyable: you can enjoy a good pizza or a home-smoked trout together with your fellow campers.
