Camping Le Douzou is a quiet and small-scale terraced campsite in the middle of nature with spacious shady camping pitches. You have a choice of a spot by the river or on one of the terraces. As the pitches are generally separated by natural vegetation, you will enjoy a great deal of privacy. The campsite is car-free, hence children can play safely on the camping grounds.
A number of separate spots on the campsite are available to guests who arrive with a camper and wish to arrive/leave at any time of the day. These spots, too, are spacious and are situated between trees. In addition to camping pitches, you can also rent a mobile home. These are equipped with all modern conveniences and accommodate 4-6 people. Furthermore, fully-equipped lodge tents with a semi-covered outside terrace can also be rented.From a fast-flowing stream to the DordogneThe Céou, a fast-flowing stream with crystal clear water, runs across the camping before it eventually empties into the well-known Dordogne river. The river is eminently suitable for swimming, fishing and canoeing. The river water is quite chilly, so if you are looking for some water fun in slightly warmer water, you can make use of the camping swimming pool.Jogging with the sporty camping ownerIn peak season, Camping Le Douzou organises various activities. Sports activities for children and adults, such as jeu de boules competitions or basketball games. You can also join the camping owner for a morning jog three days a week.In the recreation area, you will find a pool table, a shuffleboard and DVD player with (Dutch) children's movies. Once a week, some fun crafts activities are organised for the tiny ones.
