Motorhomes and campervans can park overnight at some of our car parks on a first come first served basis with no awnings, pop-up toilet or any other type of tent, or camping cars are permitted.
A small charge for staying the night will apply at our participating car parks with the use of the onsite parking meter or honesty box.
The car park sits a short walk below the summit of East Lomond. There are excellent views of Glenrothes and further North to the coast and Edinburgh. The car park is an excellent launch point for a walk to East Lomond summit or a more ambitious expedition to West Lomond summit past the Limekilns and stopping of at Craigmead picnic area. The East Lomond Car Park can also provide a half way break for those setting out to the hills from Glenrothes up the Pitcairn Path.
