The 'Ronostrand' Recreation Centre is located on a recreational lake in the Drenthe countryside. On this family campsite you camp between the woods, on demarcated lawns. Your children will have the time of their lives here. Together with entertainers Rik and Sunny, they can play and dance here every school holiday during the children's disco. But the child-friendly swimming lake also offers a lot of fun.
Pitch/rental accommodation You will find almost four hundred camping pitches on the extensive camping grounds. About half of these pitches are reserved for regular guests. The camping pitches are located between these permanent annual pitches, but also on separate camping fields. Because the camping pitches are on separate lawns, which are demarcated with plants, you can enjoy a peaceful camping experience. The camping pitches themselves are not demarcated, which creates a spacious feeling. No camping equipment? Then book a mobile home, hiker's cabin, bungalow or lodge tent. Pizza or pancakesThe restaurant with its large terrace is located on the beach and the recreational lake. You can go there for an ice cream in between swimming, but also for lunch, pizza or a three-course dinner. Be sure to take a seat on the beautiful panorama terrace, which offers a fantastic view of the water. Great for the kids: they also serve pancakes in the restaurant.Swimming!The showpiece of the 'Ronostrand' Recreation Centre is, without a doubt, its swimming lake. Not only does this water, surrounded by forests, provide a beautiful camping spot, it also offers many recreational opportunities. For example, swimming! The lake is shallow at the edges: ideal for small children so they can safely wade and paddle. The older children and adults can swim in the deeper part. After a dip in the water, you can dry up on the large sandy beach or the grassy meadow.
