Camping De Martinière is located in the Isère, in the heart of the Chartreuse Massif. The campsite offers an exceptional view of the surrounding Alpine peaks. The spacious pitches are laid out on meadows of an old Carthusian farm. The comfortable wash room has given the century-old farm a new lease of life. The wood and utensils of olden days make for a lovely ambiance in 'l'Atelier' (a bar/restaurant). Children will thoroughly enjoy themselves with the heated swimming pool, the play equipment and activities.
Experiencing natureThe small-scale family campsite De Martinière has been established with respect for nature and is lovingly managed. The grounds are in a magnificent setting with the old, renovated monastery farm building. Over the years the owners have worked the fields and improved them with indigenous trees, shrubs, hedges and plants. The spacious and shady pitches are located on both sides of the farm, some with ample privacy.Mountain hutsThe rental accommodation is very special, mobile homes in harmony with nature and environment. There are also basic tents on wooden stilts with a terrace. They have a real bed, two chairs, a dining area and electricity. The lodge huts are also very tasteful, beautifully executed in wood with a large covered terrace. The three wooden chalets are inspired by the mountain huts of the shepherds and have been constructed with environment-friendly material. The furniture was especially designed for the chalets.Games and mountain sportsChildren will enjoy themselves in the heated swimming pool with toddler's pool and the small playground. Also fun: the trampoline, bouncing cushions and jeu-de-boule pitch. In high season there are organised activities (biathlon, treasure hunts, story evenings and cheese and wine tastings).
