The Solitaire du Lac campsite is located on the shores of Lake Annecy. Here you can enjoy relaxed camping without the bells and whistles. You walk straight into the lake, whose water is lovely and warm in the summer. Boating, surfing, water skiing, cycling or mountaineering; it's all possible here. And by bike, bus or boat, you can easily reach the charming town of Annecy.
Well cared for camping site The campsite itself consists of a well-kept terrain with half-high trees. If you walk down the camping area, you come to a meadow with some playground equipment, football goals, a volleyball net and a basketball court. Directly behind it is the lake, at a small grassy beach between the reeds.Relaxed campingThis is a fine campsite without undue fuss. You will receive a friendly welcome at the reception and the camping pitches are well looked after and of average size. The sanitary building is not particularly new, but it is kept clean. There is no organised entertainment programme; people just play and swim. In high season, children will easily find playmates for a game of football, table tennis or beach volleyball.Water fun on the lakeBe sure to bring your own air mattress, inflatable toy, board or boat to endlessly float, paddle or surf. In the summer, the water temperature in Lake Annecy is easily 26 degrees, so that makes for pleasant swimming. At the campsite, you can rent bikes, kayaks and supboards. And nearby is a 'base nautique' watersports centre for even more water fun. A great time to learn water skiing or wakeboarding. A boat trip on the lake is also recommended.
