Camping du Port de Plaisance is situated a few kilometres south of the town of Péronne (Somme department). You are here in the north of France, about sixty kilometres east of Amiens. Besides being a wonderful place to spend your holiday, this campsite is also a green stopover on your way to the south. You are camping here not far from the A1 motorway.
At a small marinaHere you camp quietly at a small marina. The spacious pitches are on grass. You can also stay in a safari tent or a chalet. In the evening it's very quiet because the campsite gate closes at 21.00 (in low season at 20.00) for vehicles. The sanitary facilities have recently been renovated and are considered by many guests to be a major plus point.Swimming pool at the Somme RiverThe campsite has a beautiful heated outdoor swimming pool with a paddling pool. There are sunbeds where you can relax after a long day of travelling. There is also a terrace where you can order a nice summer drink or an ice cream. A special feature is that the swimming pool is adjacent to the Somme River. Along the Somme, there is a beautiful cycle route that leads you to Amiens or even further to the coast. The campsite does not offer an entertainment programme, but with its swimming pool, sports field, playground and ping-pong tables, your children are bound to have plenty of fun!Fresh rollsThe campsite has a bar, snack bar and bread service. There is a small shop for basic groceries. Via the river, you can walk or cycle in a few minutes to a larger supermarket.
