Camping Kohnenhof is a relaxed campsite along the Luxembourg bank of the Our. You can camp here in peace and enjoy the lovely nature of the area. The river is suitable for playing, boating and for fishing. On the campsite are various pitches with lots of or somewhat less shade and a meal in the restaurant is highly recommended.
Elongated along the riverThe camping pitches on the left have more shade provided by trees than the pitches by the river, which are from a later date. The pitches along the river may be somewhat soggy in wet weather. All pitches are spacious and some are hardened. Many camping pitches are separated from each other by low hedges. On the older section there are several rental accommodation units, such as trekker huts, bungalows and mobile homes. You can also rent lodge tents.Water pleasureOn the campsite you can have a lot of water fun in the Our, where you can wade along the banks. There is also a bridge to keep your feet dry when crossing into Germany. Camping guests have free access for a few hours per day to the Aqua Nat’Our swimming pool, some 6 km away.Lovely foodThe shop has a limited selection. Besides some basic necessities you can order fresh bread each day. You will be able to do all your shopping less than ten minutes away by car. In the cosy restaurant in an old farmhouse you can enjoy a lovely dinner. Luxembourg residents also come here for dinner. The chef services varying dishes as well as, of course, the special mystery menu. The sanitary facilities are neat and tidy; a second sanitary building has been added in 2018.
