Camping KAUL is a nicely laid out and well maintained community camping site with a recreation centre. It is located within walking distance of the centre of Wiltz. The camping site is located in the forested, hilly heart of the Luxembourg Ardennes nature reserve. The reservoir Lac de la Haute-Sûre is only a few kilometres away.
From the reception, which is in the same area as the restaurant, you have a broad view of the camping site and the surrounding area. The sloping property is nicely arranged with spacious separated pitches with or without a bit of shade. Glamping sets the tone on the highest terraces: here there are large luxurious safari tents and a pair of charming wooden pods.Swimming and sportsThere is plenty to occupy all ages on the camping site. Children will love the large heated outdoor pool with spectacular slide. But there's more. In addition to a kiddie pool and a sunbathing area, there are also two playgrounds, a covered playroom and a beach volleyball field. In the summer entertainment is offered and excursions are organised.A few minutes walk away from the camping site there are various cycling, mountain biking and walking routes. There are also bikes for rent. The camping site itself has no supermarket, but with the centre of Wiltz within walking distance, the shops are never far away.Cycling on an old railway lineThe forested nature in the direct vicinity of the camping site provides lovely cycling and walking. It is really special to cycle a part of the RAVeL. This completely car-free and mostly flat cycling path follows the path of an old railway line.
