Campsite Le Picouty is a small campsite where you camp on flat terraces on an otherwise rugged terrain. Here you can combine a quiet holiday with small-scale conviviality. Half an hour's drive away is Rocamadour, a pilgrimage site carved out of a limestone massif.
Welcome! Just above Payrac, a small village in the Lot department, you'll find the campsite. You camp here just outside the Parc naturel régional des Causses du Quercy. Although the limestone plateaus and rocks of this park are a bit further away from the campsite, the landscape here is already quite hilly. The campsite is almost next to the D820, which passes through Payrac. If you follow the camping signs from this road, you will reach Le Picouty within a few hundred meters. So Payrac is conveniently close for groceries.Terassen Camping The campsite is made up of terraces. Some of the 25 pitches are sheltered and separated by shrubs and trees, giving you the necessary privacy. Other pitches have a more open character. Despite the height differences on the rugged terrain, all pitches are neatly flat. In addition to touring pitches, there are 22 rental accommodations on the campsite, most of which are classic mobile homes.Swimming and convivialityEspecially for a small-scale campsite, the swimming pool is large. Next to it is a paddling pool. During disco evenings, ‘moules frites’ afternoons and petanque tournaments you can get to know your fellow campers in a relaxed atmosphere. The village of Rocamadour is half an hour's drive away. With buildings 'hanging' against rocks and a castle on the mountain top, it is very special.
