Camping Domaine de Gajan is located in the midst of nature, far away from traffic noise, in the Herault. A region with lovely hills and winding rivers. The nature around you offers everything you need for sports activities and the old cities are perfect for day trips.
Well-deserved peace and quiet in a natural environmentAfter being welcomed by a French couple, you'll see that the property is natural and well-maintained. What you'll really notice is the peace and quiet. Some of the pitches are on a grassy field and have no shade. The pitches under the oak trees do have shade. Rental accommodations are available in the form of two lodge tents. The sanitation in the old building was renovated in 2015 and is great.Swimming pool with water slideIn the high season, you will find many families with children here. The 50-metre long heated swimming pool has a water slide for the kids. To swim in the sea, you must drive about 30 kilometres. Beautiful beaches are found at La Grande Motte and Le Grau du Roi.Small campground shop and the Saturday marketThe restaurant with terrace is a wonderful place to eat. There is also a bar with a large TV. There is a small shop on site where you can buy soft drinks and a few basic articles. You can go to the Hypermarché 4 kilometres away for your daily shopping.Many cycling and hiking routes start at the campground. You can also canoe on the Hérault river, and Montpellier, Nîmes and the Saturday market in Sommières are also lovely outings.
