Pays Bigouden is the name of the special region where Camping Les Hortensias is situated. The area is known for its long and photogenic beaches, traditional fishing villages and numerous historic towns. This location makes the friendly campsite a good base for nice trips in the area. And when you return to the campsite, a whirlpool and heated swimming pool await you. But also a snack bar (with outdoor seating) where they serve delicious pizzas.
Beautifully tended pitchesEach pitch is well used, but the many trees and bushes give the campsite a welcoming feel. The pitches are partly delimited by hedges and of course by hydrangeas. Trees provide natural shade everywhere. Most touring pitches are on grass. The mobile homes are arranged in small streets.Heated waterThe swimming pool complex is at the front of the campsite. The indoor pool is nicely decorated with a small bridge and plants. There is also a whirlpool. In fine weather the roof can be opened. A small part of the pool is reserved for toddlers. If you want to swim in the sea, you can go in all directions. At the marina in Loctudy, a small ferry boat sails across to the beautiful beach of Ile-Tudy during the high season.Playing outsideNobody will be bored at Les Hortensias campsite and children certainly won't be. There is a playground with a climbing frame and some other playground equipment. But there are also two trampolines, a table tennis table and a volleyball court. And what is more fun when you are on holiday in Loctudy than to go cycling together? You can hire one at the campsite.
