Camping Johannesvik is a fjord campsite with its own beach between the rocks, including a safe swimming area for small children. The campsite is one of the best the Swedish fjord coast has to offer. The beautiful view, the ever-present nature and the possibilities for swimming and walking make this a top destination. This is a family campsite suitable for campers of all ages.
Surprise behind the rocksVia a winding, ascending road you pass part of a former farmhouse before you reach the reception. The campsite is very well-maintained and lies amidst nature. At first glance, it looks like an average camping site with a large green lawn to the left of the reception. When you leave the reception, you pass an enormous rocky outcrop before you reach the far end of the camping site, which is located on the fjord with a view of the beach.Fjord beach and wellnessThe beach is situated along the fjord and consists mainly of a pebble and rocky beach. The camping site's own beach has a security fence for small children. There is a water trampoline and a pier where you can splash around in the water. The camping site also has a wellness centre (hot tub, sauna and jacuzzi). Minigolf (stone golf) and other sports facilities are in abundance. The floating sauna in the sea is a new feature since 2017.Starters, pizzas and à la carteThere is a camping shop for basic foodstuffs (fresh bread) and a few camping items. The restaurant has a pleasant and amicable atmosphere. You can get pizzas, à-la-carte dishes, salads, desserts and children's menus here.
