Camping Eienwäldli is situated in the heart of the Alps, in the town of Engelberg. This means: green, high mountains, lakes, fresh air, walking (and in winter skiing, of course). From the campsite you have a splendid view on the mountains on all sides. This charming campsite is a wonderful place for families, sports enthusiasts and active holiday makers. The campsite also serves as a hotel with extensive wellness facilities.
PitchesThe campsite is quite touristy, both in summer and winter, and therefore has paved camping pitches at the front part of the campsite. Smaller camper vans and tents are allocated pitches on the second part of the grounds, on grass. The sizes of the pitches vary: they are more generous on the lawn. The campsite is surrounded by high mountains, therefore you cannot rely on the sun at all times. You can also rent rooms in the hotel.Sports and wellnessThe hotel has a heated indoor pool (with water chute and toddler pool). The campsite is focused on the sporty holiday maker and offers excursion programmes, guided walking tours and cycle routes. You can also get busy climbing, mountain biking, skiing, paragliding or play golf. There is an entertainment programme for children.Do your own cooking?You do not have to do your own cooking because you have a choice between delicious food from the snack bar, pizzeria and two restaurants (one with a small menu and one with a more extensive menu). You can also enjoy a meal in one of the many restaurants in Engelberg; Eienwäldli guests are provided with a bus pass for free transport to Engelberg and back.Sanitary facilitiesThe sanitary facilities deserve praise. They are spacious, luxurious and heated.
