n the hilly countryside of the Aveyron, between Rodez and Sévérac-le-Château, you’ll find the small-scale campsite Le Plo. This campsite in the countryside, with its separated and shaded touring pitches, is a haven of peace in the middle of the touristic Aveyron. During the summer months, the peace and quiet is occasionally interrupted by pleasant evenings on the terrace, with live music and good food.
Small-scale and quietWith 24 touring pitches and 22 rental accommodations, camping Le Plo can justifiably be called small-scale. Its small character is enhanced by the surroundings of the campsite: the village of Recoules-Prévinquières, the vast countryside and the abundant greenery all fit into the picture. It only enhances the peace and quiet. As are the camping pitches, almost all of which are separated by hedges and shaded by a tree.Simple swimming poolLike the facilities, the pool is quite simple: rectangular, without fuss and not too big. There are no slides or paddling pool, but still there is thought of the smaller swimmers. The front part of the pool is shallow and gently sloping, and the pool is enclosed by a fence for safety.Musical disturbanceThe silence of the French countryside is disturbed once a week in high season by the sounds of live music, sounding from the restaurant and its outdoor seating. A pleasant disturbance, as the local musicians always bring atmosphere, while the guests enjoy a snack and a drink together. This makes the summer evenings at Le Plo campsite pleasant and tasty. At eleven o'clock in the evening the peace and quiet always returns.
