In Torre de Lago Puccini, a town in the north-west of Tuscany, lies the camping site Italia Family Camping Village Viareggio. This spacious, wooded camping site is beloved by families because of its swimming pools, sports fields, activities and the many excursions available in the area (city trips and days at the beach). The nearby beach is just a one-kilometre walk away.
Spacious pitches and comfortable accommodationThe camping site has nearly 600 pitches. There is a division between the pitches and the rental accommodation. The rental bungalows and mobile homes are all roughly the same size. You are also welcome to bring your own camping equipment, of course. Simply choose a location on the large field. The most spacious pitches are at the back of the camping site.Swimming and sportsThe three swimming pools on the camping site, which are centrally located near the restaurant and the shop, are great places for both young and old to cool off. They are surrounded by a grassy field. There is an admission fee for the pools, unless you have booked a bungalow. In the latter case, you will receive a pass for free entry to the pools. Those who enjoy staying active can play on one of the many sports fields (football, table tennis, petanque and tennis). Bicycles are also available for hire on the camping site: the gorgeous surroundings definitely deserve to be explored. Activities are organised in Italian, but are still worth the effort. Older children will love the outdoor dance party (only during high season).Italy at its best: cappuccinos and pastaThe great restaurant on the camping site has plenty to offer those with refined palates. It serves authentic Italian dishes. In the morning, you can pick up fresh bread from the camping shop. A wonderful espresso or cappuccino is an excellent way to start the day!
