Campsite Le Chenantier

The vast campsite Le Chenantier is located between the Alps of the mountainous Savoy, all the way to the east of France. This small-scale campsite is situated in the midst of the rugged nature of Valoise National Park and is an ideal holiday destination for mountain hikers and cyclists. Without too many facilities and with spacious pitches, this is a simple but comfortable campsite.

Mountain viewsAlmost fifty pitches are scattered across the green camping site, which, with its open character and extensive lawns, breathes spaciousness. The terrain is rugged and the pitches are situated on different terraces. Many of the pitches are sunny and are located in the open field.On the edge of the forest, pines will give you shade. Shady or not, all pitches are spacious and from every spot on the campsite you have the same beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The rental accommodation on the campsite is special: a teepee, yurt (a traditional round tent) or log cabin, built with tree trunks.Campsite for mountaineersWhether you bring your mountain bike, racing bike or hiking boots, you are in the right place as a mountaineer at this campsite. The whole camping season you will find lovers of the high mountains here.
