Campsite Les Portes du Beaujolais lies in the village of Anse in the Rhône department of France. The campsite lies on the Saône river and is close to Lake Colombier. A large part of the campsite consists of pitches and there is also a wide choice of rental accommodation, including ecological bungalows and bungalows for disabled camping guests.
Sunny highwayWhen you reach Anse, the destination village, via the ‘Autoroute du Soleil’ (the A6), and if you take exit 32, you have to go under the same A6 highway to reach the camping site. Via a long driveway, lined with trees on both sides, you arrive at camping site Les Portes du Beaujolais.Eco bungalowsOn the camping site you will see many wooden holiday homes: chalets, lodges and bungalows. They have though of everyone. For disabled persons there is the Handicap Chalet and nature-conscious campers can stay in an Eco lodge. The remarkable Chalet Le Lem, a type of fantasy house for the entire family (10 persons), is also eco-friendly: it was built with local wood and in accordance with environment-conscious standards.The largest part of the camping site, however, consists of camping pitches. You can use the spacious camping pitches on your own (for instance, if you are on a cycle tour) or with a group of up to six persons.Le Plan d’Eau du ColombierOn the camping site is a comfortable swimming pool with two slides. Looking for a larger body of water? The steam train which chugs past the camping site will take you from the camping site to Lake Colombier and the surrounding nature reserve, adjacent to the Saône.
