Among the Veluwe royal properties, the Vierhout forest and the Gortel heath, you'll find the De Veluwse Wagen campground. So this is a very natural environment, a real valhalla for cyclists and hikers. At this campground you'll not find any bells and whistles, but good facilities for a lovely nature-laden holiday. There is a good restaurant, a little playground, trampoline and children's farm for the littlest ones.
At the Veluwse Wagen you'll receive a friendly welcome by Petra and Gerrit, who take great pride in maintaining the campground, the restaurant and the guest accommodation. When it is quiet on the campground, take a walk around and pick your campsite. If you arrive with a caravan, Petra or Gerrit will help you get the caravan on the right spot.Camping in natureThere are two camping fields with spacious comfort sites on this well maintained campground. The delineated campsites with electricity are paved and are located at the edge of the camping fields, so there is a large grass field in the middle. There is also a field specially designed for campers and people campling with a tent. The toilet facilities are clean and fresh. There are also washing machines, dryers and ironing equipment.The old Veluwse farm has a restaurant as well as a bed & breakfast and two apartments where you can overnight in comfort.Dining in an unique atmosphereStay on the campground for a tasty meal. An old Veluwse barn with authentic atmosphere has been converted into a restaurant. This dining farm has an extensive menu.
