Camping at a refreshingly atmospheric camping site with an alternative, artistic look. This is all possible at Medrose Camping, situated in the valley of l’Escoutay, a narrow river. From the pool and restaurant, you have a view of the steep cliffs. The camping site has no supermarket; you can do your shopping in Saint-Thomé (two kilometres away). There is a new, cosy restaurant. The atmosphere on the camping site, especially around the swimming pool and the restaurant, is colourful and artistic.
Simple or very different Camping The reception and restaurant are in some wonderful old premises, constructed with rough stone from the area. The facilities are concentrated around this reception building. From here, you can see the spacious camping site (4 hectares) along the l'Escoutay river. This is home to 84 pitches (90-120 m2). The best pitches are right by the river. There are also pitches on the large field. These have half-shade from trees.Another feature Medrose Camping has to offer is 38 rental accommodations that you will not easily find elsewhere. A small selection: designer apartments (gîtes), Coco Sweet tents, and the Mini Loft Cosy Puppy (chic apartment in an old mill, colourful, industrial furnishings, including jacuzzi).Happy swimmingThe rectangular pool measures 100 m2, the children's pool 50 m2. Along the side is a colourfully tiled terrace with brightly coloured chairs and loungers. You have direct access to the river from the camping site.Lovely restaurantFresh bread is available on the camping site each day. The bar and the fantastic restaurant are located at the reception. The terrace is located under old trees. The cooking is excellent and the regional dishes are a real must.
