This small and very reasonably-priced campsite has everything for families who like peace and quiet, simplicity and nature. The campsite is situated in the hamlet of Goebelsmühle, against the bank of the brooklet the Sûre. You are standing in a sunny location surrounded by lots of greenery.
Where is your pitch?The camping site is located on an elongated terrain. Most of the touring pitches are located next to each other, directly alongside the brook. You are standing on grass and there are sufficient trees, if you are looking for some shade. The pitches are not demarcated. You can choose where you want to stand. There are also rental lodge tents, trekker huts and chalets on Camping du Nord.The children's CaravanThe camping site is ideal for families with children of school-going age. There is a small playground and every morning the little ones can go to the children's Caravan for two hours of fun and entertainment. The brook which runs along the camping site is safe enough for children (with swimming certificate) to play in. Approximately 16 km down the road you will find a reservoir with beach, where you can swim as well.Eating and drinkingThere is a snack bar on the grounds for when you are feeling peckish. A baker delivers bread early each morning. There are ample restaurants in Ettelbruck and Diekirch (both at a distance of some 15 km), where you will also find a few supermarkets.Sanitary facilities: renovation on the cardsThe ablution block is centrally located on the camping site. The facilities are somewhat dated, but clean. During spring 2018 a new sanitary building will be put up, complete with underfloor heating, LED lighting and solar panels.
