In Normandy, on the edge of the forest of Eawy, lies Camping de l'Orival. This quiet three-star campsite consists mainly of permanent pitches and rental accommodations, but there are also touring pitches. Because of its location between Amiens and Rouen, this is an excellent campsite for a stop-over.
Camping pitches and mobile homesThe sloping campsite is bordered at the edges by greenery. The campsite has forty permanent pitches and thirteen rental units, so the campsite is largely full of mobile homes. However, there are also thirty touring pitches available. The pitches vary greatly in size and are situated on little fields delimited by low hedges. Heated swimming poolCamping de l'Orival has a small heated outdoor swimming pool with a narrow sun deck. It is completely fenced off with a high fence. If you want to to spend a day at the sea you can drive to Dieppe, twenty kilometres from the campsite. There you will find a stony beach on the English Channel. The coast here is not very suitable for sunbathing and swimming, but the cliffs and chalk cliffs guarantee beautiful seascapes.Entertainment for adultsThere is little entertainment on the campsite itself. In high season there is French entertainment for adults, but for children there is little to do. For families with children the campsite is more suitable for a stop-over than a longer stay.Snacks at the swimming poolIn high season there is a small snack bar at the swimming pool. Fresh bread is also available at the campsite in July and August. For your other groceries you can go to the village of Les Grandes-Ventes, just a kilometre from the campsite.
