The well maintained and complete campsite De Boshoek lies on the southern edge of the Veluwe, more or less between Amersfoort and Apeldoorn. You can enjoy the surrounding nature and calm atmosphere here with the entire family. Yet there is more than enough to do! For instance, swimming in the (covered) swimming paradise, tennis, soccer and basketball. There is also a wellness centre.
Pitch Beaver or Goat?The camping site is fairly new, with well maintained fields (paving bricks) and pathways with woodchips. There is little demarcation. The fields are named, for instance the Beaver Field and the Goat Field. The 112 touring pitches and 8 motorhome pitches are spacious and offer ample privacy. The 73 contemporary rental accommodation units consist of safari tents, trekker huts, bungalows and rooms.Dutch swimming paradiseThe beautiful indoor pool (the sometimes unpredictable weather conditions in the Netherlands have been taken into consideration) has a few slides. A wellness centre is linked to it. When the weather allows it, you will of course dive into the outdoor swimming pool (open from May -September). It also has a sunbathing lawn.Lots of activities...The entertainment programme offers too much to mention. You can take part in bowling, quad biking or attend a cookery workshop. The large playground, with sand surface, is full of challenges for children. There is also a petting zoo, a panna cage, a tennis court and a soccer and basketball field. Also fun: play a game of mini golf.Eating and drinkingThe camping shop (with limited assortment) is adjacent to the reception. Voorthuizen has a number of good supermarkets, however. There are two restaurants on the Boshoek. There is an extensive menu and good quality meals are served.
