Because of its location close to Berlin, four-star campsite Am Mahlower See is the perfect holiday address for visits to the German capital. You can reach the centre within forty-five minutes by car or half an hour by train. The campsite is located in the countryside, just south of Berlin, facing a small lake; a peaceful and green setting. The campsite is rather basic, without frills and large scale entertainment, but fully equipped as a base for a visit to Berlin.

Well maintained comfort pitchesThe well-maintained camping grounds, surrounded by cornfields, house some sixty spacious camping pitches. They are laid out on lovely grassy fields and are mainly demarcated with hedges and trees. Centrally located on the campsite, on the circular lawn around a small pond, are dedicated pitches for tent campers.

Please note: near the pond you probably have to share your pitch with quite a few mosquitoes in summer. Restaurant and lakeThere is no swimming pool on the campsite, although there is a swimming lake across the road. It has a gently shelving beach, making it a safe place for children. You can enter the water directly from the small beach or sunbathing lawn.

Adjacent to the lake is a restaurant where you can enjoy a tasty meal. Cooking yourself? If so, you can do your grocery shopping in the supermarkets of Blankenfelde-Mahlow, at a distance of only 2 km from the campsite.
