The friendly family campsite Seasonova Le Point du Jour is located directly by the sea, near the town of Merville-Franceville-Plage. This is an excellent base for a beach holiday or an active excursion to the magnificent hilly, green hinterland and the attractive small towns with nineteenth-century villas.
Camping by the seaThe pitches of Camping Le Point du Jour are located along paved roads and are demarcated with hedges. There are few or no trees, so the pitches do not have a lot of shade. The nicest pitches are at the seaside. The mobile homes are spread over the camping site, often on the boundary of the grounds.Sauna and snorkellingThe swimming pool with jacuzzi (150 m2) is covered and is located next to the heated paddling pool (20 m2). You can use the sauna and whirlpool for a fee. The sandy beach can be reached via a dune path from the camping site. In the sea you can practice (and learn) windsurfing, waterskiing, kayaking and sailing. Snorkelling here is also great fun. The area is excellent for a level cycling or walking trip. Disco and danceFor children there is a playground and a few times a week also a mini club (English and French).  Everyone will enjoy the disco evenings, irrespective of the language you speak. Hit the dance floor!Eating establishmentsYou can order fresh bread from the bar. Near the camping site there are several snack bars for pizzas, French fries, etc. Within walking distance you will find several eating establishments and in the village you can do your shopping.
