Camping Tavolara is located close to Olbia, the capital of Sardinia. This is a very favourable location for campers who travel by ferry to Sardinia, because Olbia is the large harbour town of the island from which many of the ferries arrive and depart. The campsite has several pitches, varying in terms of shade and demarcation. There are also separate motorhome pitches. The campsite is pleasantly car-free. Staff members drive around in electric vehicles to keep the noise levels down as much as possible.
Caravans with wooden verandaThere are several types of mobile homes with two to five beds. These are all well equipped. They have a tiled veranda with tables and chairs, covered with a wooden pergola. In addition, there are also caravans surrounded with a wooden construction and veranda. The bathroom is outside and may be private or semi-private.Named after an islandThe beach is only 500 m from Camping Tavolara. There is a convenient shuttle bus from the campsite to the Porto Taverna beach. This is a glorious sandy beach, the sea is crystal clear and deepens very gradually.  From the beach you overlook the narrow island of Tavolara with steep, chalk cliffs. The campsite is named after this island.Entertainment galoreThere are a number of sports and recreational facilities on campsite Tavolara. There is a playground and sports fields and you can play table tennis or table football. Entertainment is offered on the campsite from mid-June to the beginning of September . During this period disco evenings, cabaret and theatre shows are organised. There is a restaurant and a pizzeria for your evening meal or a quick snack.
