The western part of Andalusia is not without reason a renowned holiday destination. The region has a wonderful climate and apart from the famous beaches, bustling coastal and harbour towns, there are some magnificent nature reserves along the coastline of the Atlantic Ocean (woodland and marshes). This is all within reach from campsite Giralda. The site is situated on the border of the National Park, 2 km from the picturesque harbour town of Isla Cristina.
Spacious pitches in the forestThe camping pitches on the Giralda camping site are not demarcated and have a woody surface. In high season you may have to stand fairly close together. In the wooded section the pitches are more spacious and provide more shade. The attractive sanitary facilities are cleaned several time a day. At the entrance you will find special units for the disabled (key available from the reception). You can rent recently renovated bungalows and rooms on the camping site.Swimming pool with a viewThe camping site has a beautiful swimming pool with view of the Rio Carreras, the river at the far end of the camping site. Near the pool you will find a sunbathing lawn and a restaurant with terrace. There is also a toddler pool. The beautiful sandy beach of the Atlantic Ocean is only a 5-minute walk away. You can reach this directly via a path from the camping site. Entertainment for children is available in high season.Well-stocked camping site shopIn the reception building is a very well-stocked camping site shop. Fresh bread is also available. Furthermore, there is a snack bar and a self-service restaurant with large terrace, surrounded by lovely plants.
