The French Camping de la Tama is a family campsite in Agde (Hérault). Here you will camp in an old pine forest and by a river. The surroundings consist of mountains, but you are also close to the Mediterranean Sea. With all these ingredients, it is here for peace and quiet seekers and nature lovers to enjoy. From the campsite, you can walk straight onto the sandy beach for a swim or to laze about.
Surrounded by natureThe grounds of this wooded campsite are natural. Therefore, there are only a few paved paths. Because of its location between high pine trees, there are many shady camping spots. Those without their own camping equipment can stay in a furnished lodge tent or chalet.Plenty of water!Although the campsite itself does not have a swimming pool, there is no shortage of water. Go for a swim in the sea or play by the river which flows next to the campsite. Nearby, there are several water sport opportunities, and a visit to the large Étang de Thau - an inner lake where you can enjoy oysters - is also worthwhile!Entertainment and restaurantThe entertainment team is ready with fun activities for young and old, from sports competitions to fun theme nights. Or enjoy a game of table tennis, pétanque or football. Feeling peckish? The campsite has a bar and a restaurant with a terrace. Less than five minutes' walk from the campsite, you will find a nice street with many more nice restaurants on the water. Many campers visit the castle with its Domaine Preignes Le Vieux vineyards.
