Domaine du Launay is situated in the Goelo, in the north of Brittany. This quiet campsite is located on a large estate amidst nature. Therefore, a real domain. You camp here sheltered between greenery. It is truly idyllic here: in the mornings you wake up to a chorus of singing birds. The camping side is beautifully laid out with sheltered pitches amidst lush vegetation. The area is wild and rugged, with a jagged coastline, cliffs and rocky islands.
Peace and greeneryOn the way to your pitch you will pass spacious, sheltered pitches with ample privacy. There are quite a few mobile homes, but there is also a separate section for touring guests. The terrain slopes slightly, but the camping pitches are level enough. Tall hedges, trees and shrubbery surround the camping pitches, creating a sheltered location and ample privacy. The mobile homes are also located on spacious, sheltered spots. Fishing, walking and swimmingYou can go for lovely walks on the extensive grounds of some 30 acres: you can go for a 3.5 km walk along wide avenues and narrow forest paths. There is even a beautiful lake on the campsite. You are not allowed to swim here, but angling is permitted. You can also sit down and relax there. If you feel like having a swim, you can do so in the beautiful, heated swimming pool in high season. Rocky coastCamping Domaine de Launay is located close to the sea, but the coastline is craggy and rocky here; there are no sandy beaches. It is only a fifteen minute drive by car to the sea from where you overlook the Channel. There are some lovely small harbour towns in the area, like Paimpol.
