Campsite Tunnel International

When you enter Italy through the Great St Bernard Tunnel, campsite Tunnel is the first campsite you will see. This terraced campsite is beautifully located against the mountainside near the village of Etroubles, at an altitude of 1,280 m. The mountain landscape is rugged and wooded and the panoramic view from the camping pitches is magnificent. This is an ideal stopover campsite when your holiday destination is still quite a distance away in Italy.

Manoeuvring for a viewThe campsite is beautifully laid out and well maintained, with level camping pitches on terraces. When you arrive with your caravan, it takes a bit of manoeuvring to get to your pitch. The infrastructure is a bit tight. However, this is amply compensated by the panoramic view.

Pods and bubblesWhen you do not have your own camping equipment, or when you are in transit, you can rent a nice 'pod' on this campsite. A threesome of basic, but comfortable trekker huts together form a cosy 'pod village'. They are especially popular with hikers and cyclists. And after a long travel day, or after hiking or cycling in the mountains, you can take a hot shower.

Or you can relax in the bubble bath. Campsite Tunnel not only has a whirlpool, but also a small swimming pool: a rare luxury at this altitude.
