Campotel Bad Rothenfelde is a large campsite in the Osnabrück Land, located on the outskirts of the historical town by the same name. Exercise and relaxation go hand in hand here. Explore the beautiful Teutoburg Forest by bicycle or on foot, visit the saline springs (salt walls) and take a dip in the salty water. There are various spas in the area. The campsite itself also offers wellness facilities.
A unique main buildingThe driveway takes you around the large, semi-circular main building. This used to be a hospital. All amenities are (centrally) located here. Here you find the reception, sanitary facilities, a wellness centre (sauna, steam bath and whirlpool), a fitness room, squash courts, several bars and a restaurant.Climb on your bicycleThe area is great for cycling. Go on a relaxing cycling trip through the Teutoburg Forest on level cycling paths, or take your racing bike or mountain bike into the hills for a trip involving some serious climbing. Water everywhereIf you like swimming, this is the place to be. In the spas in the region you will find all kinds of salt water pools, heated pools, mud baths and mineral baths. Even a wave pool with warm, saline water. The campsite itself has a beautiful, small natural lake which is ideal for swimming on warm days. There is also a sandy beach where you can soak up the sun or play a game of beach volleyball.
