In the midst of the green interior of the Vendée you'll find the small, quiet farm campground of La Grisse. By car you can be at the sandy beaches of Longeville-sur-Mer in about 10 minutes. The simple campground is spacious with plenty of greenery and trees with very large campsites. The campground is an oasis of peace with many lovely excursions in the nearby area for children and adults.
Very spacious sitesyou'll find very spacious sites on the green campground. The campsites are not very separate from each other, but because you have so much space, you have privacy. You have a very large site (180 to 300 m2) and camp on the flat grass among the trees. The sites are not very different from each other, but you do have variations in the shade.BarbecueThe farm campsite is popular with the French, but also Dutch, Belgian and English young families and seniors come here for the peace and quiet. The owner invites the guests for a drink once a week in the high season. There is a convivial barbeque for guests looking for a lively evening, for a fee.Bread and playOnly the necessities in groceries are sold at the receptions. The baker delivers fresh bread every morning at 9:00 a.m. You only have to drive 6 km for larger shops. Bikes are available for hire on the campground for a tour over the gravel paths.There are various small playgrounds and a partially covered recreation space for kids and adults. You can play beach volleyball and a game of table tennis here. There are swings, slides, a sandbox and a bouncy castle for the kids.
