In a gentle sloping landscape, some 4 km from the beautiful coastal resort of Comillas, lies the friendly family campsite El Helguero. You are camping here on an attractive terraced campsite with a friendly Spanish atmosphere. The demarcated pitches are located along a street. You can pitch your tent on the lawn. Apart from the 60 permanent pitches, there are 240 touring pitches on grounds measuring 6.5 ha. From the terraces you have a beautiful view of the mountains. There are 26 rental accommodation units on the campsite.
Charming restaurantIn the attractive restaurant (with bar and terrace) you have a wide choice of affordable, Spanish dishes. You will meet guests from different countries. Snacks and take-away meals are also available here. The small camping site shop has a reasonable selection. You can get fresh bread and local specialities every day.Hit the dance floorThe outdoor swimming pool measures 200 m2, spacious enough for a few lengths. There is a toddler pool of approx. 15 m2. Children will have a great time in a playground or can join the entertainment programme (English and Spanish). In the evenings guests enjoy the lovely Spanish life: dancing on folk music or popular music (disco).Tours through an undulating landscapeFrom the camping site you can follow signposted walking routes. You can also take lovely cycling tours through the gently undulating landscape. The camping site offers excursions to explore the area together with other guests. This is also a great way to get to know your camping neighbours a bit better! You can do horseback riding, mountain biking and surfing in the vicinity.
