Camping Du Lac is an excellently maintained campsite in the middle of a rural area in the department of Gers. The campsite is within walking distance of a beautiful recreational lake and the centre of Marciac. This town is known for its international jazz festival (August). The campsite has a terraced character and shaded pitches. There is a heated swimming pool and a bar with pavement café.
Lots of variation in touring pitches and accommodationsAt the front of the property you will find many tall trees that provide shade. Some pitches are surrounded and delimited by hedges, others have a more open character. There are also several rental accommodations. These vary from lodge tents for two people to fully equipped mobile homes for up to eight people.Swimming and sunbathingThose who feel like taking a refreshing dip can go to a (heated) swimming pool. Around the pool there are sun loungers, ideal for getting a tan. Would you rather lie in the shade? No problem, there are plenty of parasols available.Skittles and water sportsCamping Du Lac has a separate play ground where children can enjoy themselves in a sporty way. During the high season, campers of all ages can participate in 'Quills de Gascogne', a local game similar to skittles. At 300 metres from the campsite there is a beautiful recreational lake, ideal for lovers of water sports such as kayaking and fishing.Bar with attractive pavement caféClose to the campsite entrance and the swimming pool you will find the bar with an attractive pavement café. Delicacies such as snacks, sandwiches and local wines are available. You can also order breakfast here. The baker from Marciac delivers freshly baked bread to the campsite every morning.
