Grønhøj Strand Camping is situated in North Jutland, the northernmost region of Denmark. The name says it all: this campsite revolves around the beach. You camp here only seven hundred metres away from the North Sea. A ten minute walk and you reach a wide sandy beach. Grønhøj Strand Camping is a large family campsite for a quiet, relaxing camping holiday. Without a busy entertainment programme for children, but with playgrounds, a mini golf course and a petting zoo where they can go on pony rides.
The murmur of the seaTranquillity is the keyword of the campsite. From your campsite you can hear the murmur of the sea and even hear the tides change. You camp here on uncluttered, spacious camping pitches, separated by hedges and pine trees. You can also rent one of the cosy log cabins with their own kitchen and sleeping area. The largest cabins have private sanitary facilities. Furthermore, the campsite is perfectly suitable for a camping holiday in your tent. Beach campingA walk of some seven hundred metres takes you to the North Sea and its sandy beach. This is not a beach as found on the Côte d’Azur, with beach clubs and mass tourism. The beach near Grønhøj Strand Camping is quiet and clean. This piece of North Sea coast is perfect for a lovely walk, but also simply suitable for swimming. You can also drive onto the beach by car.Shopping in LøkkenLocated adjacent to the reception building is a small camping shop, where you can find the most essential groceries. Do you need additional supplies? You will find them in Løkken, some eight km north of the campsite. Løkken was a fishing village in the early days, but has now been turned into a popular beach resort and is great for a relaxing stroll.
