The quiet terraced campsite Lo Schioppo extends at an altitude of almost seven hundred metres into a forest near a river. You camp here in the Abruzzo region. The village of La Grancia is at a distance of three km from the campsite. In Morion (a ten minute drive away) you will find some more amenities such as restaurants, shops and a railway station.
Welcome!You will reach the attractively located campsite along a hilly road and a beautiful valley. You are welcomed by the hospitable Tagliola family. Their terraced campsite has well maintained, spacious pitches (50). There are also two rental apartments.Enjoy the peace and the viewCampers who love peace and nature like visiting here because of the panoramic view of the mountains. In summer you will predominantly find families with young children here, while in the off-season the campsite is frequented by senior citizens and hikers.The footpath adjacent to the campsite takes you to the river in less than five minutes. There are several signposted walking trails across the nearby nature reserve. These differ in degree of difficulty. In high season there are guided walking tours enabling you to visit the small villages in the area with the owner.Breakfast on the terraceNear the friendly reception you can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or a cool drink, as well as order breakfast. There are only a few products available, including fresh bread. The owners will happily give you advice about sights and activities in the area. The village of Grancia, where you will find an eating establishment and a small supermarket, is located at a distance of some three km.
